Finley School of Arts – Redevelopment
The objective of the Finley School of Arts Redevelopment is to revitalise the site by increasing its usability, improving equitable accessibility to the site, whilst retaining its strong heritage value.
This will be achieved through a contemporary style addition which is easily distinguishable to the heritage elements of the building. A new foyer area is also proposed to create a communal gathering area.
Another important part of the Redevelopment is landscaping to provide ample shade and public seating, and also to complement the architectural works.
Overall the scheme will greater improve functionality and just as importantly the overall aesthetics of the site.
